Dr. Eng. Nabil Ades

Dr. Nabil ia a graduate of the Civil Enginering Faculty at Aleppo University, Aleppo, Syria, and holds a Master’s and a PhD from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland, U.K., with a specialty related to Computer Aided Structural Design.

Dr. Nabil has over twenty years of experience in designing, writing and utilizing structural engineering computer software packages (CASD).  Experience also includes structural consultation to large projects. He held several high positions in Aleppo University including: The University Vice President for Academic affairs (2004 – 2007), The Head of the Department of Engineering & Construction Management, Faculty of Civil Engineering (1995 – 2004).

In addition to his positions at Aleppo University, Dr. Nabil served as a structural engineering consultant in the General Company for Engineering & Consulting, Northern & Eastern region branch, Aleppo, Syria, (1998 – 2008), and served also as a Member of the board of directors and the Head of the administrative committee (Aleppo Branch) of the Syrian Computer Society (SCS), (2000 – 2009).

All these high administrative positions coupled with superior knowledge of structural engineering make Dr. Nabil targeted by several local and international firms for multi-level consultations.  Dr. Nabil is one of the founders of the ECGroup and assumes the position of the main senior director in charge of projects progress supervision and all high-tech related matters.

He is currently a professor at Aleppo University and is registered as a Consultant Engineer in the Syrian Order of Engineers – Aleppo Branch, Aleppo – Syria.
