The ICARDA Bio-Contamination Laboratory Building

A large laboratory building with a one of its kind equipment for the ICARDA research complex.

The building is composed of two major portions, a reinforced concrete structure housing parts of the laboratory rooms with several administrative and service rooms, and a back space composed of a slab on grade with all needed connections and services to receive venlo green houses fully equipped and ready to be installed.

These venlo green houses being shipped directly from Germany required special detailing and extremely accurate structure that can take no tolerances.

The project was studied and executed to the full satisfaction of the client through the PEC office and is now considered one of the very few of its king in the world.
